The perfect headline

The headline determines the user's decision: to go to the page, to open the product, to read the article or to ignore it. The effectiveness of headlines is measured by A/B testing. The one that collects more clicks wins.

 If the user clicked on the headline and then left the site in a split second, returned to the giveaway or previous page, can the headline be considered to have worked?

 You should measure the effectiveness of headlines not by CTR level, but by user engagement on the page.

 The topic is the key conversion element, the tasks of which become:

  • attract the user's attention
  • arouse interest and persuade to take an action
